Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to join a large federal law enforcement workforce. The role offers full-time career opportunities at multiple duty locations across the United States, with excellent base pay and federal benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience OR.
• Bachelor's degree or completion of a four-year course of study OR
• Combination of experience and education as submitted with your application.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations, inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance tools.
• Interpreting tracks, marks, and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets.
