Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Education Substitution: a bachelor’s degree or successful completion of a full four‑year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree.
• Combination of Experience and Education evaluated from resume and transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Border Patrol Agent including law enforcement responsibilities.
• Detain illegal entrants or contraband and enforce federal regulations.
• Interpret and apply immigration and customs policies during patrols and operations.
• Update records and cooperate with other agencies as required.
• Relocation to various duty stations; participate in training programs at the Academy.
