Responsibilities

• Enforcing the laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping to and from the United States.
• Detaining suspected violators and conducting lawful enforcement actions.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to safeguard borders.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
