Job Summary

This is a guest service oriented position assisting guests with boot and/or ski rental equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Acknowledge customers quickly and courteously.
2. Complete accurate work order paperwork and prioritize work orders in an expedient manner.
3. Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers.
4. Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service.
5. Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
6. Remain current on industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products.
7. Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.
8. Maintain all company paperwork according to policy.
9. Adhere to safety procedures regarding use of tools and equipment.
10. Ensure that guests accurately complete rental forms.
11. Provide resort information to the guests.
12. Check returned rentals for damage.
13. Maintain cleanliness of the shop and proper storage of all equipment.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Ski/Snowboard Rental

1. Recommend ski/board length and make sure bindings are set correctly for skill level.
2. Properly fits guest with rental boots for skiing and/or snowboarding.

Boot Rental

1. Find the proper boot fit for each customer to create positive slope experiences.

Education:

1. High School or equivalent.

Physical & Other Requirements:

1. Minimum age for Ski Rental position is 18.
2. Minimum age for Boot Rental position is 14.
3. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
4. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.
5. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
6. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
7. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
8. Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
9. Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
10. Non-smoking candidates preferred.
