Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Production Coordinator to support Starship and SpaceX’s production teams in Hawthorne. The role involves moving parts, managing inventory, and maintaining ERP data, while collaborating with planning, procurement, engineering, and production to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ year experience in administrative processes, and strong MS Office skills; forklift certification and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of experience supporting departmental administrative processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift certified.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments is a plus.
• SQL and Tableau experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and move parts to ensure timely delivery to next production location.
• Push/pull physical movement of parts through receiving, stock rooms, purchasing, or production resources.
• Promote workflow consistency and drive down internal logistics lead-time.
• Ensure parts are handled and protected per SpaceX specifications.
• Coordinate off-site processing of parts for on-time delivery.
• Maintain clean and accurate MRP/ERP data with planning and production teams.
• Develop and maintain reports for internal and customer use.
• Support production leadership with action item updates and metrics.
