Boomtown Casino Hotel in Reno is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, loading and delivering items within the warehouse and back-of-house areas. You will verify counts, rotate stock, and maintain safety while assisting with requisitions and ensuring smooth operations.

This role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a valid driver's license. A strong team player with reliable attendance is essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months or more related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Experience with hand carts and pallet jacks is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior guest service and maintain positive interactions with guests and team members.
• Perform warehouse duties: load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Verify item counts and note discrepancies or damages.
• Pull and deliver items, obtain signatures for delivery/receipt.
• Rotate stock and maintain proper storage to prevent spoilage.
• Keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Assist with purchase requisitions and safety procedures.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for specific positions.)

• Provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with external and internal guests and team members; has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.
• Provides manual labor in the Warehouse and Receiving areas by loading, unloading and moving of merchandise.
• Assists receiving personnel by verifying correct counts of items received and noting discrepancies or damages.
• Issues (pulls) and delivers items to the proper destination and obtains signatures to ensure proper documentation of delivery/receipt.
• Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage; rotates stock according to schedule.
• Maintains work area in a safe and proper manner; reports any unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.
• These and other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• This position is exposed to varying levels of noise and vibration, the severity of which depends upon warehouse activity.
• This position, at times, is required to work outside and is exposed to various weather conditions, proper clothing is provided.
• This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to bend, carry, squat, stand, twist and lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs in order to store and retrieve items located in the warehouse.
• Must be able to review and comprehend purchase requisitions.
• Must be able to effectively and efficiently move around warehouse.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Electric and manual pallet jacks, forklift and computer.

• Familiarity with Boomtown Casino | Hotel’s facility helpful.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Salary: Up to $19.00 per hour
