Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of integrations involving SAP S/4 and downstream/upstream systems
• Own technical solution for integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms
• Partner with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Product Owners to translate requirements into robust SAP-aligned integration solutions
• Define and enforce enterprise integration patterns, standards, and practices
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including: integration architecture and solution design; guidance to development teams during build and deployment; troubleshooting complex integration and data issues
• Oversee API lifecycle management, versioning, and backward compatibility
• Ensure integrations meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements
• Support Agile delivery through technical backlog input, estimation, and sprint execution
• Mentor and coach integration engineers and junior team members
• Provide leadership for production support of integration solutions, including incident triage and root-cause analysis
• Partner with support teams to resolve middleware-related integration issues within SLAs
• Participate in on-call or escalation support rotations as required for critical integrations
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, logging, and proactive issue prevention

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with deep focus on enterprise integrations
• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Integration Engineer
• Strong SAP integration experience, including: SAP S/4HANA integration patterns; IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, SAP APIs
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi integration platform
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP-based integrations
• Experience with event-driven and message-based architectures
• Data modeling, transformation, and canonical data structures
• Experience leading technical design and guiding integration development teams
• Hands-on experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing and validation
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-based integration deployments
• Experience working with MongoDB or similar database technologies (NoSQL or relational) and understanding of data structures used in integration scenarios
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders
• Preferred experience integrating SAP with eCommerce platforms like Salesforce & Shopify, Data, and SaaS platforms
• Preferred Boomi Certification
• Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with API gateways and operational monitoring tools
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or hybrid integration environments
