Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Boom Truck Operator (CDL Class A) to transport and deliver building materials to local jobsites in a safe, timely manner. You will operate a boom truck to unload and place materials with precision while providing friendly customer service and adhering to DOT and company safety regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL license with clean driving record.
• Experience operating boom trucks or crane-equipped vehicles preferred.

Description:

As one of our Boom Truck Operators (CDL Class A), you will be responsible for transporting and delivering building materials to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained, company-owned fleet. You will operate a boom truck to unload and place materials in precise locations on residential and commercial jobsites while ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely. You will maintain daily delivery schedules while providing friendly, professional customer service and adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a boom truck or crane-equipped vehicle preferred
• Ability to safely load, unload, and place materials using boom equipment
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
