Job summary

Acadian Contractors, Inc. in Cocoa, FL seeks an Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate an extended boom forklift on our job sites.

You will perform daily inspections, maintain equipment, and coordinate with the Yard Superintendent or Project Manager to ensure safety and productivity.

A high school diploma and at least two years of forklift experience are required; training on site may be provided to certify operation of all required equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating extended boom forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate extended boom forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain forklift in good working condition and report issues.
• Perform daily inspections and check fluids, filters, and tires.
• Ensure lifting gear and pins are used with proper safety.
• Follow site safety policies and complete JSA before tasks.
