Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Team Lead to work closely with Department Managers to price and stock merchandise, assist team members, and ensure training and compliance across the store. The role includes serving as the on-duty leader when the Store Manager is absent, opening/closing the store, and ensuring safety for people and property.

The position requires 1-3 years of relevant experience, an Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred, and the ability to lift 25-50 pounds and operate

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Receives, prices and stocks merchandise to meet store needs and drive sales.
• Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store.
• Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training.
• Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, opening and closing the store.
• Ensure store property and team members are safe and secure.
