Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is seeking a Bookseller to welcome customers, connect readers with titles, and keep the store attractive and well organized. You will manage shelf presentation, unpack deliveries, and operate registers to provide a quick, friendly checkout experience.

You’ll work with a team, develop product knowledge across sections, and help with café support and loss prevention as needed. This is a temporary position focused on reliable team players who enjoy bookselling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a cheerful, helpful greeting and connect readers with titles and products.
• Unpack, shelve deliveries and maintain attractive store presentation.
• Operate registers and assist customers quickly and professionally.
• Support the café team when needed and assist with loss prevention procedures.
• Develop book knowledge and make recommendations; maintain sections and backstock.
