Job summary

You will build knowledge across fiction, nonfiction and children's books, develop merchandising skills, support cafe operations, and follow loss prevention procedures. Growth to Senior Bookseller is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find books
• Maintain cheerful attitude and strong attendance for shifts
• Be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions to connect readers with titles and products
• Maintain attractive store presentation and tidy displays
• Unpack and shelve deliveries and operate registers efficiently
• Support cafe team when needed and assist in loss prevention procedures
• Assist with merchandising and book knowledge across sections (fiction, nonfiction, children's)
• Contribute to the team and aspire toward Senior Bookseller level
