A Barnes & Noble Booksellers position invites you to join a busy bookstore team focused on welcoming customers and helping readers find the perfect titles. You will maintain attractive displays, unpack and shelve deliveries, and run our registers with a friendly, professional approach.

As you gain experience, you’ll develop bookselling knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, and children’s sections, while supporting store sales objectives and collaborating with the cafe team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a cheerful and helpful way and answer questions.
• Connect readers with the right titles and products while updating shelves.
• Unpack deliveries, tidy displays, and ensure attractive presentation.
• Operate registers quickly and professionally to serve customers.
• Support cafe team when needed and assist with store cleanliness.
• Follow loss prevention procedures and de-escalate issues in-store.
