Job summary

Barnes & Noble, Inc. is seeking a part-time Bookseller to welcome customers, answer questions, and connect readers with the right titles and products. You will help maintain presentation, staff the registers, and assist with deliveries to keep the store inviting and efficiently run.

You will work with a team to uphold high standards, showing reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude, while developing product knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, and related categories.

Qualifications

• Maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Open from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and most holidays.
• Be positive and willing in your approach to work, performing tasks with purpose and energy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers cheerfully and connect readers with titles and products.
• Maintain attractive store presentation and ensure efficient running of the store.
• Unpack and shelve deliveries and tidy displays; operate registers quickly and professionally.
• Support receiving, unpacking of deliveries, and accurate shelving.
