Job summary

Barnes & Noble is seeking a Bookseller to welcome customers, help them find titles, and keep the store tidy and inviting. You will unpack deliveries, shelve products, and run the register with a focus on fast, friendly service.

As part of a busy team, you will develop product knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books, while supporting merchandising and inventory tasks. Opportunities exist to grow within the bookselling career path.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding titles and products.
• Unpack deliveries and shelve items; maintain attractive displays.
• Operate registers and provide quick, friendly checkout service.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising across all sections.
• Support cafe team when needed and help with backstock as required.
