Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is seeking a Bookseller to warmly welcome customers, assist with finding titles, and help maintain attractive displays.

You will work a busy sales floor, run the register, and support receiving and shelving while collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations. You will develop bookselling knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, and children's books, make recommendations, and contribute to sales goals.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills and ability to connect readers with titles.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to help customers.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to cover varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with finding books and products.
• Unpack and shelve deliveries and tidy displays.
• Operate registers and provide quick, friendly checkout service.
• Support receiving and shelving, and help the café team when needed.
• Maintain attractive presentation and help meet sales objectives.
