capstone group is seeking a Bookkeeping Specialist to manage day-to-day financial records for a diverse portfolio of business clients in Idaho. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting while building trusted client relationships and delivering high-quality financial support.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with payroll and tax teams, and attention to detail in all bookkeeping tasks. Growth opportunities and competitive wages are part of the package.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • A highly motivated and dedicated person.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts for multiple clients.
  • Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Review financial records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping matters.
  • Collaborate with payroll and tax teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support special projects and additional accounting duties assigned.

The Job

As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day financial records for a diverse portfolio of business clients, helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with multiple clients, building trusted relationships, and providing high-quality financial support that helps businesses thrive.
