This individual will be responsible for a variety of pertinent tasks, allowing the financial advisor to focus on the continued growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial processes, assisting with vendor relationships and implementing efficient accountant processes and procedures. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and experience overseeing and leading projects will be required. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience for a minimum of two years.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and best practices, with proven knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. Demonstrate sound judgment and adherence to accounting best practices.
• Highly proficient in using accounting software, showcasing a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Experience using Google Suite of products.
• Experience using QuickBooks software.

This position requires that you possess the following skills:

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable proficiency, execute day-to-day accounts payable processes, including cash management, vendor bill payments, and credit card receipt processing. On the receivables side, handle contract reviews, monthly invoicing, and customer record maintenance.
• Documentation & Compliance, obtain crucial paperwork from vendors, such as W-9 information, to facilitate smooth accounting operations. Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, from bank reconciliations to general ledger auditing. Your attention to detail ensures assistance with accurate financial reporting.
• Payroll processing, commission management and benefit administration.
• Handling administrative duties like scanning invoices and maintaining an efficient electronic filing system.
• Innovation and process improvement, identifying opportunities for centralization, elimination, or automation of activities. Implement innovative solutions to enhance financial processes.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000
