Job summary

The role includes processing payables, preparing schedules, analyzing variances, and upholding internal controls to protect member funds and the credit union's financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Post, review, and verify daily financial transactions including member activity and ACH.
• Balance and reconcile cash, settlement, and other key general ledger accounts.
• Monitor balancing reports and research out-of-balance conditions.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and postings.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
• Investigate account discrepancies and maintain audit trails.
• Assist month-end close with journal entries and accruals.
• Process vendor invoices and monitor payment schedules.
• Support internal audits and regulatory compliance.
