Job summary

CFS is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our automotive-industry client in Mt. Healthy. The role involves essential AP/AR tasks, data entry, and accurate record-keeping in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the general ledger and debits/credits.
• Solid grasp of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and record maintenance.
• Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile financial statements, bank accounts, and general ledgers on a regular basis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor and maintain petty cash transactions and reconcile them with receipts.
• Prepare and submit timely tax forms and reports as required.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures, including account analysis and journal entries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
