Responsibilities

• Verifies, allocates and posts business transaction details to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents.
• Summarizes details and transfers data to the general ledger.
• Reconciles and balances accounts.
• Compiles records to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures and accounts payable/receivable.
• Calculates associate wages from time cards and submits payroll registers.
• Prepares tax reports and mails monthly statements to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
