Job summary

Manhattan Motorcars, Inc. in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a Bookkeeper / AP-AR Specialist to support our accounting operations. This is a full-time, in-office role with competitive pay and strong benefits.

You will process accounts payable, manage accounts receivable and customer payments, assist with reconciliations, and support the accounting team daily. Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping, AP, AR, or accounting support.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
• Automotive or dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and post accounts payable invoices
• Manage accounts receivable and customer payments
• Prepare account statements and assist with reconciliations
• Support check runs (vehicle purchases, payoffs, refunds)
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist Controller and accounting team with daily operations
