NOW CFO is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper for a client in the construction and asphalt/paving industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, starting as part-time and transitioning into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on bookkeeping experience, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop. Experience in construction or project-based accounting is highly preferred.

This position is onsite and requires someone who is detail-oriented, flexible with hours, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. It’s an excellent opportunity to grow into a permanent role with a stable and well-established company.

About the Role

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. Enter and maintain accurate data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Track expenses, job costs, and revenue for construction/asphalt projects. Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with accounting policies. Support management with financial reporting as needed. Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team.
