Job Overview

5TCO is currently seeking a trustworthy and experienced Bookkeeper to join our administrative team at our Sarasota, FL office. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a supportive, small-office environment. As a critical member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping using QuickBooks with confidence and accuracy.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts on a regular basis.
• Generate and maintain financial reports, records, and ledgers.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and year-end documents for CPA review.
• Maintain accurate vendor and client records, W-9s, and tax documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, vendors, and internal team regarding financial matters.
• Perform general administrative and accounting duties as needed to support office operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a construction or field-service environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (certification preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivables, and financial reconciliation.
• Highly dependable with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, team-first attitude.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Any certifications relating to QuickBooks are a strong plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
  
  

Schedule

• Part-Time: Monday through Friday
• Flexible start and end times available depending on office needs
