Nourishing Hope, based in Chicago, is looking for a Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day financial operations. The role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as you will manage financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, and run payroll.
This position operates Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working remotely two days a week. Along with an hourly rate of $24–$28, the role offers benefits including health insurance and generous paid time off.

Nourishing Hope serves tens of thousands of people each year, providing more than 4 million meals through our programs, in addition to partnerships with other community organizations. This year, more than 7,000 low‑income neighbors will also receive case management and social services.
The Bookkeeper will help perform Nourishing Hope’s day‑to‑day financial needs. In supporting the growing organization, the Bookkeeper will have an astute attention to detail, be prepared to adhere to strict deadlines, and will help out the larger Operations department as needed.
This position primarily works out of Headquarters located at 1716 W Hubbard. The work schedule is Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm. This role has the opportunity to work remotely 2 day(s) per week.

Hourly Rate: The anticipated hiring range for this position is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
Because we are a Medicaid provider all applicants who are offered employment with Nourishing Hope will be subject to a background screening.
