Job summary

Scholastic is hiring a part-time, seasonal Warehouse Associate in Wisconsin. Schedule is 9AM–1PM on weekdays with an hourly rate of $16.00. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match and a 50% merchandise discount each year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED may be preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and ability to work well with co-workers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, basic math, and ability to read English documents (safety rules, instructions, manuals).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of book fairs by packing cases, boxes, and displays with book and non-book products according to process and quality standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Ensure outbound shipments are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs by packing/unpacking cases and displays.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper packing.
• Learn scanner proficiency for item inquiries and replenishment of pick locations.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Keep work area neat, safe, and organized.
• Participate in seasonal inventory resets and QA scanning functions.
• Participate in Physical Inventory and Customer Appreciation Warehouse Sale events.
• Handle merchandise carefully and use warehouse equipment safely.
