Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1475 Mount Hood Avenue, Woodburn, OR 97071. The role involves blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred experience in phlebotomy and strong communication skills for exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
