Job summary

Boater's World Manufacturing Group in North Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented BOM Technician to create, maintain, and verify Bills of Materials for manufactured boats. You will manage ERP records, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Inventory teams.

The role emphasizes standardized processes, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional data integrity to support growing manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, production planning, BOMs, or related function.
• Experience with ERP systems or manufacturing inventory software.
• Proficiency with Excel and strong data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Review part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and specs.
• Ensure BOMs reflect current manufacturing requirements.
• Process BOM revisions due to engineering or production changes.
• Coordinate BOM updates with Engineering and Production.
• Maintain BOM documentation and revision histories.
• Support purchasing, inventory, and production planning with BOM data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
