CHENEGA MANUFACTURING SERVICES, LLC in Panama City, FL is seeking an experienced Buyer/Manufacturing Planner to assist with manufacturing engineering initiatives, document procedures, and support management to achieve daily goals.

The role includes creating and maintaining BOMs, routers, and change requests, entering part numbers, and backing up scheduling staff. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and 5+ years in manufacturing, with ISO9000 experience and MRPs/SAP familiarity.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in manufacturing or related production experience performing similar duties.

Mansioni

Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM’S) and routers.
Document all BOM and routers changes using Manufacturing Change Request forms.
Initiate and maintain Estimate Requests and bid packages for approved manufacturing.
Enter new part numbers in the inventory management system item master as required.
Primary backup of a Plans and Scheduling Tech and is able to perform all duties.
Create and maintain work instructions as directed.
Assist with the sourcing of materials and vendors to support engineering updates to products and bids.
Maintain assigned workplace, materials and equipment in a safe, secure and neat condition.
Work cooperatively with subordinates, supervisors, vendors and customers to promote cost-effective and ethical goals.
Familiarize with CIS SOPs, ISO policies and procedures relevant to the role.
Report incidents or issues affecting cost-effective or ethical performance to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
