Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing planner to coordinate work orders and maintain inventory levels at our Danielsville, PA location. Strong spreadsheet skills, especially Excel, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics are highly valued.

You will join a team on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm) in a non climate-controlled shop, performing general clerical tasks and duties assigned by leadership, while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing environment experience.
• Strong Excel skills; Dynamics a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work in a team and in a non climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work orders when they are ready for production.
• Maintain accuracy and work flow of the production grid.
• Maintain inventory highs/lows based on established manufacturing demands
• General clerical tasks and other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Shift hours: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

What will you do?

Coordinate work orders when they are ready for production. You will also maintain inventory counts based on manufacturing demands.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for engaged individuals that are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning and enjoy working with others.

• Preferred 3-5 years of manufacturing environment experience (Ex: planning, purchasing, production control, expediting, etc.)
• Must have good computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
• Organized, detail oriented, and good clerical skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to work in a non climate-controlled shop environment
• Ability to use and wear personal protective equipment
