Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a PE Production Control BOM/EO Assistant Manager to ensure efficient manufacturing, cost control, and on-time delivery. You will partner with the BOM/EO control Specialist and manage ERP/MES data to keep BOMs current and production-ready.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP/MES proficiency, and experience with automotive BOM/EO processes, including coordination with multiple plant departments and Korean headquarters

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing management.
• 7+ years combined education and professional experience, including 3+ years in automotive manufacturing and/or BOM/EO management.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, EOs, and 2D/3D CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial escalation point for Customer Engineering Change including BOM.
• Maintain SAP PP Module processes (MRP, Work Center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost).
• Monitor incoming EDI for brand-new parts daily and maintain BOM/EO data in SAP/MES.
• Track material consumption and ensure inventory accuracy on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Coordinate EO (Engineering Change Order) implementation with all plant departments and manage EC communications.

Role Overview

The PE Production Control BOM/EO Assistant Manager will play a vital role in establishing MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers high-quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with and managing the BOM/EO control Specialist on their daily upkeep of BOM/EOs and ERP/MES data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The initial escalation point for Customer Engineering Change includes BOM
• SAP Material Master management - create part numbers and maintain info (MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)
• Monitor incoming EDI for brand-new parts daily
• Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation (LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)
• Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part number, Material information, Effective Point Information)
• Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (weekly, Monthly)
• Maintain and distribute PART LIST MASTER to all department
• Able to track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items
• Follow up with IT team for SAP system improvement in user's aspect
• Coordinate EO (Engineering Change Order) implementation with all plant departments
• Manage EO part changes (EC(Engineering Change) alert, 1st sequence recording, EC communications internal/external)
• EO info management (participate in internal/external EC meetings, track upcoming EP (Effective Point))
• Maintain EO systems (G-EPI, SAP)

This role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalates matters as required

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Management
• Minimum of 7 years of combined education and professional experience, including at least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing and/or Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Order (EO) management
• Ability to interpret / read Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering change Orders (EO's), and or 2D/3D CAD drawings

Working Conditions
