MMI Tank is currently hiring general laborers for our bolted Tank Division.

Summary:

MMI Tank is the leading bolted steel tank supplier, is seeking construction general laborers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with superb wages, paid time off, generous per diem, and full health care benefits. Starting wage is based on experience and construction knowledge. But, no experience necessary, we teach hands-on. The job involves travel throughout the United States.

  • Erects pre-manufactured parts at the job site to construct bolted steel storage tanks. (including domes, piping, stairway/ladders & appurtenances)
  • Assembles tank bottoms, install vertical panels, by inserting metal guide pins into corresponding holes in panels of tanks, and use sealant, bolts, nuts, and washers to fasten them together.
  • Position and install parts on the tank with sealant, hardware, and gasket, and tighten hardware using wrenches and pneumatic impact guns.
  • Work at heights up to 64 ft. using fall protection and specially designed tank scaffolding.
  • Able to lift to 50lbs. occasionally. Additional weight handling is assessed for safety based on specific tasks.
  • Be responsible for personal and crew safety at all times.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.

Essential functions required to perform duties are as follows:

  • Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work out of town for extended periods of time (2-6 weeks at a time)
  • Valid Driver's License preferred
  • Able to follow directions
  • Able to provide transportation to the job site.
  • Team Player and work well with others

Job Type: Full-time

Travel: 100% (Required)

Pay: Based on experience.
