Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise seeks a Boise US Expansion Yield Program Manager to lead high-impact programs driving wafer yield and fab readiness.

You will partner with fab, engineering, and corporate teams to turn strategy into action and deliver measurable results. You will manage yield roadmaps, governance, and cross-functional initiatives across HVM sites, translating data into execution plans while influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent semiconductor industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in fab engineering, process integration, product engineering, yield, or supply chain.
  • Strong program leadership and ability to drive execution across multiple teams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills using real-world manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and track Yield strategic roadmaps aligned to Best-in-Class targets.
  • Lead cross-functional programs, managing scope, risks, changes, and performance to plan.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive benchmarking, fast-follow initiatives, and best-known method adoption across HVM sites.
  • Lead yield governance processes including MPUP, Rapid Response forecasting, and Frontend SPMO reporting.

The Boise Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) plays a critical role in enabling Micron’s US expansion and long-term manufacturing success. We partner closely with fab, engineering, and corporate teams to translate strategy into execution and keep complex programs moving forward. Our work directly supports site readiness, yield performance, and operational excellence—and we do it together!

As a Boise US Expansion Yield Program Manager, you will lead high‑impact programs that drive wafer yield performance and fab readiness. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution, working with leaders and engineers to turn uncertainty into actionable plans. If you enjoy solving complex problems, influencing across teams, and seeing your work translate into measurable results, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills using real‑world manufacturing data
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience applying program management methods in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of semiconductor yield improvement, process qualification, and equipment release
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Tableau, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and train diverse stakeholders
