Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Structural Project Engineer for our Boise, Idaho office. You will own structural design decisions, direct calculation packages, and review Revit documents, while mentoring Staff Engineers and EITs across multiple markets.

In year one, you’ll lead structural portions of projects with real ownership, coordinate across teams, and establish reliable delivery habits for the Boise structural team, with on-site work and occasional project site visits.

Qualifications

Accredited civil or structural engineering degree with EIT certification.
PE license preferred, or a clear path toward PE licensure.
Demonstrated building structural design experience with gravity and lateral systems.
Ability to coordinate with architecture, MEP, and civil teams, mentor and be mentored.

Responsibilities

Design structural solutions across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems, directing calculation packages.
Model and review Revit documentation to ensure coordinated construction documents.
Coordinate directly with architecture, MEP, and civil disciplines to resolve design questions.
Lead QA/QC reviews and mentor Staff Engineers on calculations and CT standards.
Raise design and schedule risks early and support client coordination during delivery.
