Job summary
KIVI, The E.W. Scripps Company ABC affiliate in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Meteorologist to deliver accurate, engaging weather forecasts across TV, radio, streaming and digital platforms. You will report live from events, prepare weather materials for multiple mediums, and ensure timely updates during severe weather.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in meteorology preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- Generally 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver daily weathercasts utilizing all available weather data and graphics computers.
- Prepare and deliver urgent weather updates interrupting regular programming as necessary.
- Prepare and deliver all weathercast materials over TV, radio, streaming and digital platforms.
- Assist management in evaluations of new weather data gathering and presentation computers.
- Receive assignments or evaluate news leads to develop story ideas.
