Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Board-certified Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position in Boise, ID, at a busy acute care hospital. Coverage includes a Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule with night call 5p–8a and 24-hr weekend calls, starting Jan 04, 2027 and ongoing.

The role requires performing embolization, thrombectomy, stenting, and other complex IR procedures, with credentialing and vaccination requirements met. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Interventional Radiology or equivalent.
• Min. of 1 week per month (Mon-Sun, 7 consecutive)
• Clean background strongly preferred
• Proof of COVID vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including trauma embolization, pulmonary thrombectomy, and vascular stenting.
• Provide night call coverage Monday–Friday 5p–8a and 24-hour weekend call.
• Collaborate with the APP team of five Advanced Practice Providers to manage patient care and call burden.
• Participate in diagnostic imaging interpretation and image-guided interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with credentialing, licensing, and vaccination requirements.
