Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established acute care hospital radiology service in Boise, Idaho. The schedule requires a minimum 1 week per month, with potential 2 weeks per month, Monday-Friday 8a-5p and night call, plus Sat/Sun 24-hour on call.

The role offers travel and housing and opportunities for complex IR procedures. Board-certified radiologists with an active ID license or LOQ and the ability to cover the outlined shifts are

• Active ID License or Active IMLC LOQ - REQUIRED
• Availability: must be able to cover a minimum of 1 week per month (Mon-Sun, 7 consecutive) - REQUIRED
• Clean Background: preferred - notice at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Must be able to submit proof of COVID vaccine - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures such as embolization, thrombectomy, venous access, TIPS, stenting and ablations.
• Provide on-call coverage as per schedule and coordinate with APPs to manage patient load.
• Collaborate with IR team to deliver acute care radiology services.

• START:January 2027
• AVAILABILITY:1 week (7 days, Monday through Sunday) minimum with no exceptions.
• Ideal candidate can offer 2 weeks (14 consecutive days) per month
• Monday-Friday = 8a-5p + Night Call 5p-8a
• Sat/Sun = 24 Hour On Call (8a-8a)

Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital

• Well-established interventional radiology service that includes biplane angiography, MRI MRA, CT/CTA, CT perfusion, 4-vessel angiography, and provides an opportunity for Interventional Radiologists to perform embolization, thrombectomy, venous access, TIPS, aortic dissection, peripheral arterial disease, biopsies, ablations, stent placements, and others based on training and community need.
• The Interventional Radiology provider team will include four (4) Interventional Radiologists, and five (5) Advanced Practice Providers trained in support of the Interventional Radiology practice. Hospital Call is split between Radiologists and APPs to minimize call burden and after-hours support requirements.

Cases/Procedures: Must be able to do the following:

• Trauma Embolization (Body), Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Gastric tube placement, Biliary/Chole tube placement, Nephrostomy and Ureteral stenting, Dialysis Graft/Fistula stenting, Body Arteriography, IVC Filter placement and Removal. Ideal Procedures- Cryo Ablation, Thermal Ablation, TIPS, Trauma Embolization (Body), Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Venous and Arterial Stenting, Venous and Arterial extremity thrombectomy and limb salvage, Body Arteriography, Prostate and Uterine artery embolization, Gonadal vein Embolization, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Gastric tube placement, Biliary/Chole tube placement, Y90 , Chemo Embolization, Nephrostomy and Ureteral stenting, Dialysis Graft/Fistula stenting, Pseudoaneurysm treatment, Vertebral Body Biopsy
