Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the skill (level dependent).
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client.
• Demonstrated proficiency in construction tool use (grinders, oxy/acetylene torch).
• Rigging experience.
• National Certification preferred (may be required by client).

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark reference points for columns and plates on foundation.
• Attach rigging or signal crane operator to lift parts to position.
• Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame, tanks or vats.
• Bolt structures and sections together; install components according to procedures.
• Assist in testing assembled vessels.
