Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions Corporation in Houston is seeking a Boiler Operator for a full-time role. The shift runs 6am to 3pm, with a pay range of $40/hr (Grade 2) or $42/hr (Grade 1 license).

The ideal candidate holds a Grade 2 City of Houston Boilers License and can perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, read manuals, and operate PLC systems in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or 2–3 years related experience.
• Stationary Engineer Grade 2 certification required; Grade 1 preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly to groups.
• Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance software.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and locates causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Inspects parts and adjusts devices as needed.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts and lubricates components.
• Installs parts and tests device performance.
• Operates lathe, drill press, grinder to make/repair parts.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoots all equipment and supports palletizing systems.
• Reads and interprets written information and writes clear reports.
