Job summary

Kao EMEA & Americas in Cincinnati is seeking a utilities services technician responsible for maintaining utilities systems to ensure quality production. This role includes tasks such as monitoring purified water generation, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to alarms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Technical training in electrical, mechanical, and general construction trades.
• Boiler certificate is a plus.
• Experience with quality-controlled systems and computer-based monitoring systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with purified water generation.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve alarms relating to utilities systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on utilities systems.
• Conduct daily checks, data logging, and system monitoring.
• Maintain and organize records and historical data.
• Evaluate utility concerns and communicate with leadership.
• Clean and maintain GMP in utilities areas.
• Assist in the revision of standard operating procedures.
