Job summary

Sheridan VA Medical Center seeks a qualified Utility Systems Repairer-Operator to operate, maintain, and repair a minimum of three high-pressure steam boilers and an Ultra Filtration water treatment plant. Incumbents must demonstrate training or experience validating the ability to perform these duties, with credentials supported on the resume.

State licensure will be pursued as needed. Qualified applicants will be evaluated under OPM Federal Wage System standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining boiler plants and water treatment systems.
• Familiarity with high-pressure boilers and membrane-based filtration.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
