Boiler Technician (Aurora, CO; Brighton, CO)

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on boilers and pumps.
  • Analyze proprietary TEAL operating systems, electrical systems, and Raypak controls.
  • Diagnose and adjust natural gas/propane pressures.
  • Conduct CO2/NOx combustion analysis and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform inspections and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of boiler rooms and equipment.
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Conduct yearly combustion testing and wet side inspections.
  • Troubleshoot high and low voltage systems.
  • Prioritize safety and maintain high safety standards.
  • Work independently and motivate yourself on various projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Be available for flexible hours, on-call duty, travel, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, Raypak factory training, or Journeyman plumber license preferred.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in boiler service preferred.
  • Physical ability to bend, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces.
  • Good driving record.
  • Proficiency with computers, ticketing systems, and mobile devices.
  • Strong communication, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
