Job summary

Fraser Engineering is seeking experienced Boiler Technicians to join our Service Division. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating systems, and participate in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of related experience, a Massachusetts oil burner license, OSHA 10, and a valid Class D driver's license. We offer competitive pay, solid benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training helpful.
• Massachusetts oil burner license required.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance of commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment.
• Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Dispatcher in a timely manner.
• Participate in Emergency On-Call Service rotation for installations and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and service team to build strong relationships internally and externally.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (TRADE SPECIFIC):

Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial Heating systems including Steam, Hot water and controls, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits.
