Thermal Tech Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Boiler Mechanic to perform welding, mechanical system work, piping, and pressure vessel repairs. The role covers heat exchangers, pumps, and fittings for commercial and industrial customers.
You will fabricate, weld, and install components, follow ASME code procedures, and support preventive maintenance with attention to detail. This is a hands-on field position in industrial environments requiring safety compliance.
As a Boiler Mechanic you'll spend your time on stick and TIG welding, with the rest split across mechanical systems, piping, pump work, heat exchanger installs, and full pressure vessel repair — real variety, real responsibilityacross a diverse book of industrial and commercial customers.
Must be physically fit and able to: work with hands above the head for extended periods; carry a 50 lb pail 50 feet without difficulty; climb and descend ladders; and bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. Work takes place in industrial and mechanical room environments including confined spaces and extreme temperatures. PPE including welding gear, respirator, and fall-arrest harness is required.
