Job summary

Cregger Plumbing is hiring a Boiler Installer to join our growing team in Ferndale, MI. You will install boiler systems, pre-measure sites, and connect and commission piping, controls, and related components, ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role requires 3-5 years in boiler/HVAC/mechanical installation, with knowledge of boiler systems and safety standards. A Plumbing Apprentice License is preferred, along with an HVAC degree or equivalent. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

3-5 years of boiler, hydronic heating, HVAC, or mechanical installation experience preferred.
Knowledge of boiler systems, piping, controls, and related heating equipment.
Plumbing Apprentice License preferred.
HVAC degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install boiler systems and related equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Pre-measure job sites to properly prepare for installation.
Connect and commission boiler equipment, piping, controls, and related components.
Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local codes.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the installation process.
