Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on boiler, hydronic heating, HVAC, plumbing, or related service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, pumps, controls, zone systems, venting, and combustion.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair heating-system problems.
• Experience using combustion analyzers, electrical meters, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Able to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Excellent customer service and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial boiler systems.
• Work on gas-fired boilers, hydronic heating systems, pumps, controls, thermostats, zone valves, and expansion tanks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, combustion testing, and efficiency checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, fuel, venting, and control-related issues.
• Explain findings, repair options, and completed work clearly to customers.
• Prepare accurate service documentation, repair recommendations, and job notes.
