Job summary

Thermal Tech Inc. in Florida seeks an experienced Boiler Technician specializing in controls, instrumentation, and combustion systems to diagnose faults, tune burners, commission systems, and perform preventive maintenance.

You will work in the field, document work in NetSuite, coordinate with service parts and sales, and ensure safety and reliability on mid-sized commercial and industrial boiler installations. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years of field experience preferred (boiler industry, HVAC, or electrical controls).
• Strong troubleshooting ability — able to diagnose issues, not just replace parts.
• Working knowledge of boiler room equipment, combustion testing equipment, PLC programs and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, calibrate, and replace electrical control components.
• Diagnose electrical faults across boiler control circuits using multimeters.
• Tune burner management systems and perform combustion analysis to optimize efficiency.
• Perform scheduled electrical preventive maintenance on boiler control systems.
• Execute electrical commissioning on new installations and post-repair boiler systems.
• Document all work, parts, and notes in NetSuite mobile.
• Coordinate with service, parts, and sales teams in the field.
