Job summary

Valley Boiler & Mechanical, Inc. is seeking Boiler Mechanics, Boiler Technicians and HVAC Technicians to join its Richmond, VA area team.

You will handle installs, services, repairs, and maintenance of commercial and industrial boiler systems, burners, pumps, piping, controls, and related equipment. You will be provided with a take-home company vehicle, cell phone and laptop, and will be dispatched from home, with limited overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and repair experience on boiler or combustion systems.
• Experience with welding, pipefitting, or combustion components.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial boiler systems, burners, pumps, piping, and controls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and combustion issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets safety codes and regulations.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish and support ongoing maintenance programs.

This is a role where you will be provided with your own service vehicle, cell phone and laptop to be dispatched from home and will be handling installs, services, repairs, and maintains commercial and industrial boiler systems, including steam and hot water boilers, burners, pumps, piping, valves, controls, and related equipment. The role includes troubleshooting mechanical and combustion issues, performing preventive maintenance, conducting inspections, and ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements.

Boiler Mechanic Requirements:
