Job summary

Burnham Commercial in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Code Welder AA to join our team. This full-time, union hourly role welds steel plates using arc and squirt welding, reads blueprints, and employs precision measuring tools.

The position requires welding in all positions, fitting and aligning components, and welding boiler seams. Monday–Friday with Saturdays as needed; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass ASME 2G MIG, 2G Stick, 3G stock without backing, and 4G Overhead weld tests
• Must be able to read blueprints/diagrams
• Experience with measuring tools

Responsibilities

• Welds in all positions
• Reads and interprets blueprints and welding symbols
• Fits connections, ensures plumb and level welds
• Welds boiler seams in various positions
• Uses oxyacetylene/torch to prepare openings
• Uses plumb lines and gauges for accuracy
• Cuts and measures with tape to 1/16 inch
• Cleans welds and applies certification stamps
• Performs related duties as needed
