Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a field Inspector specialized in boilers and pressure vessels in San Francisco. You will perform in-service inspections, evaluate risks, investigate claims, and document assessments to client standards.

You will ensure compliance with ASME Code, National Board, and jurisdictional requirements while maintaining a designated territory and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in boiler and pressure vessel industry including design fabrication, operation, repair/alteration, inspection, or quality control systems.
• National Board In-Service Commission is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure code compliance.
• Conduct boiler and machinery risk evaluations and investigations.
• Document all inspections and assessments per company and client standards.

• Properly documents all inspections and assessments in accordance with company and client standards.
• Ensures compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board and jurisdictional requirements.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry, such as design fabrication, operation, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.
• National Board In-Service Commission is a MUST.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus technical training in boiler and pressure vessel inspections.
• The ability to maintain a territory.
• Be able to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
